Tent
The tent is a symbol of lies. Martin told Susan that Frank had complained because the tent set up for Cecily and Aiden’s wedding impeded his view. Later, Susan learned from Aiden that the tent was not set up when Frank left the hotel to visit Martin. This proves to her not only that Martin was lying to her, but also that he had been on the grounds of the hotel at some point after Frank visited them. Susan also uncovered Martin’s charade. He had been making Joanne, his wife, believe that he had killed Frank so that she would treat him with more respect.
