Chapters 7 and 8 Summary

The newscaster on the TV says that an agent from NORAD is contaminating humans. The reactions the humans have vary according to their blood type. This explains why each of the boys reacted differently to the exposure. It also explains why the man trying to get inside of the store sounded deranged.

The boys start to talk about cleaning up the store and taking inventory of what they have. This sends Astrid into a fit because they are not planning on how to get out of the store to check on their families. Jake comforts Astrid as she cries.

Brayden starts taunting Dean for writing about all of them in his journal. Jake commands Brayden to stop. When screaming noises come from the bathroom, where Astrid is with the little kids, the boys walk into chaos. Astrid is choking Batiste, Chloe...
