John Self and Martina Twain kiss, the beginning of a new relationship for both of them. Back on the movie set, he still plays the go-between for the actors when they have differences. John returns to Martina's apartment, using his own set of keys to let himself in. The two have settled into a comfortable routine. Martina cooks for him, and they play chess.
