Summary
In Chapter 9, Benjamin and Diana were only friends, not lovers. She had asked him to put the surveillance equipment in her apartment. Although he believes the footage on the video will tell the story, he is afraid to go to the police as he had left her apartment just minutes before she fell. He believes this will make him the prime suspect.
In Chapter 10, Benjamin wakes from a dream where he is being forced to shoot himself. He hasn’t slept well since Diana’s death. He is afraid that he is being set up as a suspect for her murder. Despite his fear, Benjamin decides to attend her visitation in Madison, Wisconsin.
