The Starlings are invited by the Maharajah of Kashmir to spend several months in his country while they develop a theatrical troupe for his nation.

In order to entice the Starlings to come to Kashmir, a beautiful bejeweled brooch is included with the invitation.

Sunny

Sunny is a golden retriever that has run away and is found by Max. Instead of returning Sunny to its former owners, Max makes an executive decision and finds a better home for her.

Skyscapes

Max is a painter and paints with water colors. All his paintings are of sky scapes – some sunny and some gloomy – depending on his current mood.
