Summary
Enid and Margery arrive at their bungalow, at last, in Chapter 25. It is a filthy hovel. Margery is disappointed but Enid gets the place into shape at once. By the end of the day, the bungalow is habitable. Enid even sets up a small study for Margery. Margery realizes this is the kindest thing anyone has done for her and is deeply grateful.
In Chapter 26, Margery reflects on her days spent with Professor Smith as a young woman. He taught her everything she knows about beetles and even helped her with her research regarding the golden beetle. They used to meet several times a week over tea.
