Summary
In “Snow,” the 23-year-old narrator Trinity was getting ready to go to her job as a waitress. Her husband, Derrick, told her to be safe. They had been married for five months but they were having problems and Trinity was beginning to question the stability of the relationship, as well as the direction of her own life.
Trinity pulled into the restaurant parking lot and saw her co-worker and friend R.J. parked beside her. He gestured for her to join him in his car and then offered her cocaine, which she declined. Halfway through her shift, a beautiful woman came into the restaurant and Trinity waited on her. Her name was Snow and she explained that she was Vietnamese.
