Summary

Prologue

Alan Christoffersen is in a great deal of pain because he was stabbed while walking outside Spokane, Washington. However, he looks to the future with hope.

Chapter 1

Alan lost his wife and his business all in the stretch of a few weeks. Desperate, Alan decided to go for a walk. He decides to keep walking until he reaches the furthest point he can go, Key West, Florida.

Chapter 2

Alan wakes in the hospital after having been attacked by three men outside of Spokane, Washington. Alan is anxious to get his catheter out, but he is told he needs to have a CT scan first.

Chapter 3

A strange woman has been visiting Alan each day in the hospital. Her name is Angel. Not long before he was attacked, Alan helped Angel change a tire on her car. She gave him her...
