Brooklyn

The majority of the story takes place in Brooklyn, with an occasional trip to other New York City boroughs. The book opens with Miles overlooking the city and then swinging through the streets. Early on the book stresses the importance of Brooklyn and creating an identity of its own. Separate from Queens, New York City and Peter Parker. Brooklyn becomes the backdrop as Miles traverses his personal life and as Spider-man encounters new villains.

Brooklyn Visions Academy

The school Miles attends is more than just a school. Living on campus means Miles spends most of his time there. Not only is it where he goes to learn, but he eats his meals there, sleeps there, and grows up there.

The building that houses Serval Industries is the setting for much of the second half of the story. It is a tower that looms over the city...
