Chapters 31 - 32 Summary

Chapter 31: Jonathan and Jessica use the blue time rip to get back to Bixby. They make good time until they exit the rip and the frozen rain drops hit them like a tidal wave as they jump. Jessica is blinded by so much water. They use flare after flare to try to fight off the darklings that are already attacking the citizens of Bixby. They arrive at the lightning bolt just in time. Jessica is amazed by how beautiful the Pegasus is. As she reaches her hand towards the bolt, she can feel the power and energy behind it. She knows what will happen if this works but she knows she has no other choice.

She reaches in. The entire sky flashes with the bright light as the rip seals. The darklings are gone. It worked.
