Section 15: Chapter 23 Summary

Nathaniel is there to conduct business, so he is surprised when Cathy speaks to him but still willing to talk. Grateful for his companionship, Cathy asks him to help her kill Daryl since she has no choice besides dying here. Nathaniel points out that she could have asked for help escaping, but Cathy argues, "He killed my parents and my brother. I want to see him dead" (page 240).
