As Cathy remembers how, when she cried about being stupid, her father assured her she was proud and no one could take that unless she let them so she should not let that creep hurt her. Cathy still could not believe she let a stranger get so close to her, and her father had been still close to panic though the danger was over. Wrenching her mind from the past, Turquoise does push-ups until Eric arrives to take them on a tour of the kitchen and the south wing. He also shows them the weight room, but when Turquoise asks where the other door leads, Eric tells her that the door to the courtyard is locked.
