Fabrizio

Fabrizio is the twelve-year-old servant of Mangus the Magician. A short time ago, Mangus was placed on trial in the castle for using magic. Although Mangus's life was spared, his reputation has been ruined. This has caused all of Mangus's other servants to leave the household. Fabrizio, however, is loyal to Mangus and has remained, despite the change in circumstances. In fact, Fabrizio is a strong believer in the illusions that Mangus once performed and continues to practice some of the skills Mangus taught him.

When word comes from the castle that Mangus is needed, Fabrizio feels responsible because he used tarot cards and insists on going.
