Michael Vey

Michael is a fifteen-year-old boy who has tried to hide the fact that he's able to produce and release electricity from his body. He is picked on but tries his best to keep a low profile. His mother realizes that Michael would be exploited or worse if his power was discovered. Michael tries to keep his power hidden from everyone around him. Michael is somewhat shy, probably at least partly because he's spent so much time keeping himself in check in order to keep his powers hidden. The breaking point comes when three classmates, led by Jack, continue to harass him. At one point, Michael is sent to detention because Jack and his friends put Michael in his locker.
