Chapters 15 through 22 Summary

In chapter fifteen, Ostin, Mrs. Vey, and Michael go on their planned outing without Taylor. They are somewhat subdued without her presence but believe she's simply gone home sick. They visit the aquarium first then go to PizzaMax for dinner. They have dinner and after eating Ostin goes to the restroom. Mrs. Vey asks Michael if there's something wrong. He tells her about the scholarship offer and says it's to a "very prestigious" school in California. She asks for the name and he tells her it's the Elgen Academy. Her mood immediately changes and she says they have to go home. They leave the restaurant but Ostin realizes he left his jacket inside and returns to get it as Mrs. Vey and Michael continue toward the car.
