One in five women will be raped during her lifetime. Rapes, gang rapes, murders of women around the world and assaults of young women who have been drugged are stories grabbed from the headlines. There is a broad pattern of violence against women across the globe. The disabled, the autistic, celebrities and innocent children have all been victims.
