Summary
In Chapter 13, as Noria and Sanja listened to the new discs, Noria wrote a transcription. They also studied “a map of the Lost Lands from the past-world era” (169). Noria said she did not know what she was “going to do with the info,” but was secretly concocting a plan (170). She was now convinced that Miro had protected the Jansson expedition by hiding “them in the cave” (171). The recordings were old, but they excited Noria. She thought and dreamed about them constantly.
After Sanja left, Noria performed a tea ceremony. Desperate to please Mikoa, the work drained her. Afterwards, Sanja returned with a package from the mailman for Noria.
