Chapter 13 Summary

In Chapter 13, Naomi rejoins the tennis team because Ace needs a double partner after his hurts her ACL. The third week of May, when Naomi is helping Alice paint sets for her new play, James returns to school. James invites Naomi to go for coffee. They update each other on their lives, but the feelings between them are not the same. Naomi goes to prom without a date, but hangs out with Alice and Yvette. She notices how Will dotes on Winnie while they are at prom.
