Felix Harrowgate

Felix is a wizard of the Mirador and the lover of Lord Shannon. He was sold by his mother, a prostitute with bright red hair, to a thief. Felix was raised to steal and prostitute himself in the Lower City of Mélusine. When an evil wizard, Malkar, took a liking to Felix, Felix found himself bound to a different kind of master. Brutalized and raped for years, Felix was finally released from Malkar to begin training as a wizard for the Mirador. Felix rose to prominence, but when the truth about his background came out in court, Felix found himself back under the control of Malkar. Felix is raped and deranged by Malkar, who casts a spell to damage and control Felix's mind. Felix is Mildmay's half-brother, though he doesn't know this until much later in the book.
