Chapter 5 Summary

Mildmay has to keep a low profile, so he takes a cheap job as a bouncer and bartender. The weather has turned wet, and winter fever is ravaging the Lower City. Robert continues to visit Felix in St. Crellifer's. Felix tries to remember what happens when Robert comes, but he can't. Robert takes Felix out of the Insane Asylum, back to the Mirador. Felix can feel the magic of the Mirador overwhelm him. He goes into hallucinations. Mildmay is broke and loses his job. He doesn't like to rob hotels.
