Summary

In "Sani's Note, 'Where I Want to Go,' a Song by Roo Panes," Sani leaves a note for Moth in the car. He tells Moth she would not want him if she really knew him (198). He wishes they "could stay / in this cocoon" forever (199).

In "Disassemble," Sani disappears from the campsite. He leaves Moth "food, water & the Wrangler" (200). Moth feels the hands of the dead "reaching through the ground" for her (200). On her phone, she finds a nearby Walmart, wondering if she should leave the campsite.

In "Alone," Sani has been gone for an indistinguishable amount of time. Moth decides she will soon "walk away" (202).

In "Note left in Sani's Car, 'All My Life,' a Song by Texada," Moth leaves a note for Sani. Moth writes that they were destined to meet. She wonders if he will find her if she...
