Summary

In "Pinnacle Mountain State Park, Arkansas," Moth wishes she could climb Pinnacle Mountain "& meet heaven," so she could see her family (150). She and Sani "jump into the lake" (150). Sani wishes they could stay forever.

In "It Feels Like the Second World," in the water, Moth feels as if she and Sani are the man and woman from Sani's story.

In "Storytelling," Moth notices more of Sani's tattoos. Back on the road, Moth flinches as moths hit the windshield.

In "Car Ride: Storytelling," Sani says that Moth tells "stories the same way" he imagines her dancing (154, McBride's italics). He says how close he wants to be to her.
