Chapters 24 and 25: Katrina Summary

Louisa can't even look at Will the next morning. She meets them in the lobby, leaving Nathan to pack Will's things and get him ready. It doesn't take long for Nathan to realize what Louisa's frame of mind is about, and he does his best to remain normal. Louisa refuses all attempts at communication by Will on flight home and as she expected, his parents are waiting at the arrivals gate. They tell him how wonderful he looks and even Nathan is quieter now. Bernard announces that they have a special dinner planned, and smiling Will agrees. Louisa thanks them but tells them she is going to head off. Camilla tries to change her mind, and so does Will, but trying not to cry she tells them to have a nice dinner and walks away.
