Structure
This book is structured as a 28-day series of readings, reflections, and personal exercises. The goal of this book is to help the reader work through their own relationship to—and complicity in—the status quo of white supremacy. The book begins with a series of introductions that are designed to mentally and emotionally prepare the reader for this work. Layla F. Saad and Robin DiAngelo warn the reader that the work will likely be quit painful and uncomfortable, but that it must be done if the reader wants to be able to meaningfully contribute to antiracism.
