Summary
Saad introduces the final week of the program, which will cover “your relationships with other people with white privilege as well as your personal values and commitments to antiracism” (171). Day 22 covers ‘white feminism.’ Modern feminist movements—movements for the social equality of women—have largely been dominated by white women. As a result, these movements have largely not considered race and have often excluded asked Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color (BIWOC). Otherwise, these movements have general asked BIWOC to put considerations of race aside. It is important to consider the intersections of patriarchy and racism in order to more fully address these social problems. This section ends with journaling prompts.
