Chapter 14 Summary
Pitt meets up with Al Giordino, who is now asleep, but during the time Pitt was on the Queen Artemisia, Al kept close watch on Pitt's activities. He confirms that Zac and Zeno staked out von Till's estate and that Darius manned the radio to see if he could catch any radio transmissions from ship to shore. While they wait on the beach for Zac and Zeno to join them, Pitt stares out across the water and notices that to the north there is a an area where the waters are calm as a garden pond and are not pounded by surf as they are at the beach where he and Al are waiting. When Zac, Zeno and Darius join them, they compare notes. None of the men noticed anything while the ship was anchored offshore and Zac is very frustrated and angry...
