Cinnamon Rolls
Throughout the novel, the author uses recurring references to cinnamon rolls to symbolize love. Cinnamon rolls are Hannah's favorite food. Therefore, whenever someone close to her takes her out for or buys her cinnamon rolls, they are displaying their affection for her.
