Point of View

Maybe in Another Life is written from the main character Hannah Martin’s first person point of view. This narrative stance locates the narrative stakes within Hannah’s distinct life and consciousness. She is telling her story in her own words. “It’s a good thing I booked an aisle seat,” she begins the novel, “because I’m the last one on the plane. I knew I’d be late for my flight.
