Epilogue Summary and Analysis

Phillips jumps the story a couple of years ahead, which the reader learns from Pippi as she and Heath discuss the missing phones. She lost them when she was three and now she is five. Pippi watches baseball with Heath and Trevor Granger Champion. Pippi has a tape recorder of Heaths and is recording all the story since Heath and Annabelle decided to marry. Pippi tells that Portia and Rosemary are in the book club because they both need friends. Portia has joined Bodie and Heath at the Sports Agency and is head of the new Women's sports division. Pippi loves Dr.Adam, Annabelle's brother, who married Delaney and asked Pippi to be the flower girl. Bodie and Portia eloped and gave Pippi no chance of flower girl.
