Chapter Thirteen Summary
In Chapter Thirteen Annabelle wants to get away from Heath and hide under the covers. Heath won't let her walk away from him. He insists they take a walk. On the walk, Heath points out that they are both single and adults who got a little drunk and a little hot and wanted something more. There was nothing wrong with that. Heath was doing an excellent sales job. Annabelle was agreeing until she almost was in his arms again. Annabelle snaps to the sales pitch before they go too far. She tells Heath that she has now seen the Python at work. She doesn't like it. She doesn't want to be the lover by default.
