Chapter Four Summary

As Chapter Four begins Annabelle is talking to Heath in an attempt to interview him about the type of woman he wants. As they hang up, the reader learns that she is visiting with Gwen Phelps Bingham. Gwen is a married woman who did Annabelle a favor on the spur of the moment. We also learn that the husband Ian knows about it. After some talk about both Heath and Ian being very intelligent men, and that Ian is losing hair, Annabelle leaves to go meet Heath. She is riding with him to an appointment.

Annabelle meets Bodie Gray who is driving so Heath can work or be interviewed. Annabelle doesn't understand the relationship. Bodie calls Heath boss, and Heath tells Annabelle that Bodie is an athlete who got his knee messed up before he could climb the NFL ladder. Bodie...
