Alexandra decides she wants a job, so Kate arranges to have her take a job at an advertising company Kruger-Brent owns. Alexandra is unaware that a person was fired to make room for her, so she does not understand the hostility she faces her first few days on the job. Alexandra decides to quit, but before she does, she changes the names on the intercoms, causing an afternoon of mass confusion. When her coworkers learn what she did, Alexandra is finally accepted at the agency.
