At six months old, Marley begins obedience class. Marley drags first Jenny and then John through the class and the instructor tells them that they must get "that animal" under control. The next week the instructor takes Marley from John, who watches the instructor being pulled behind Marley. After class the instructor kicks Marley out of class.
