The Value of Money
Many youngsters do not understand the value of money because their needs are met by their parents. Children have no real concept of what it takes to earn the money their parents spend. Marc is no exception, but Jake begins to teach Marc lessons about money over their summer together. Marc spends a lot of his time earning money he believes he will be willing to spend on a new bicycle. Along the way, Marc learns that it takes hard work to earn money.
