Marc's House
Marc lives in an middle-class home that is much nicer than where Nathan lives. The house is described only with regard to moving the action along. For example, Marc and Jake take apart Marc's bicycle in the garage. Thus, the reader knows there is a garage, but the garage is never described. There is also a shed out back where the family keeps the lawn mower. The house seems typical for the homes in the neighborhood.
Summer Camp
The summer day camp is held at a facility near enough to Marc's house that he can walk there alone each day. The facility is not described, but the reader can assume some details from the descriptions.
