Summary

In Chapter 9, “The Last Resort,” Marc is talking to a girl named Jessica at camp when Nathan interrupts. Jessica is obviously uncomfortable while Marc recognizes that he is getting angry. Marc suggests they go get a drink before their game begins, giving Marc and Jessica the excuse to walk away from Nathan. Nathan continues to talk as they walk, and Jessica says Nathan is mean. When they are walking back toward the game, they hear Nathan making fun of a shy boy named Bobby. Nathan is teasing Bobby about the size of his head, comparing it to a mosquito. Bobby is clearly too shy to stand up for himself when Marc intervenes. Marc gets control of his emotions before calmly telling Nathan to stop. Nathan shouts back. Marc stands his ground, but a counselor interrupts, calling them to line up for the next...
