Summary

In “Cloverleaf Books,” when Susan arrived at her office on Monday, she had the manuscript for Donald’s book on her desk. She compared his manuscript with Conway’s novel and came to the decision that Conway had stolen Donald’s idea. In another envelope, there was a picture that appeared to show White in the act of killing Conway. The two were on the tower at Abbey Grange. White had his hands on Conway’s shoulders and Conway had his back to the edge of the tower.

In “Detective Work,” even with the photograph, Susan did not believe White had killed Conway. She made a list of people whom she believed were viable suspects. They included James, Claire, Robeson, Donald, Redmond, Melissa, and Frederick. She had to leave her list behind to attend a meeting but wished she’d had more...
