Summary

In Chapter 13, "Relax, It’s Just a Little Death Prophecy," Magnus wakes up after 12 hours and his hallmates promise to look after Alex. Sam takes him on a flying horse to Provincetown and scouts the area before heading to a stone tower. There, they see the deaf elf Hearthstone (Hearth) and the dwarf Blitzen (Blitz). Magnus explains what is going on and they say that they left to protect Blitz because Hearth saw a death prophecy in his runes. Hearth says Blitz is supposed to die before the wedding, but Blitz says he will be fine and Hearth likely read the runes wrong. Sam says they have to find the hammer, and Blitz encourages Hearth. Sam says she will take responsibility if something happens, but Blitz says he can take care of himself.
