Summary
It was August of 2019 when Hazel arrived at her 76-year-old father’s trailer in a Florida retirement community and, to her horror, stumbled on his newly purchased high-tech, life-size female sex doll. However, strange as this was, it was the least of Hazel’s concerns. Only that morning, she had fled Byron, her husband of a nearly decade. Byron was an extremely powerful tech mogul who had founded the now massive company Gogol in his early-twenties, and Hazel knew that he would be tracking her down at that very moment. What he would do when he found her was unclear, but he was ruthless and Hazel believed her life, and now by extension her father’s, was in danger.
