Summary
Five months after Lily’s death, the verdict is still being deliberated. Asher, Jordan, and Olivia go to the courthouse every day, but the deliberations continue to drag on. Olivia cannot even think of the worst-case scenario that Asher will be found guilty and sentenced to life in prison.
Mike Newcomb, a police officer, and Olivia’s former boyfriend go to visit her at the farm.
