Summary

Olivia remembers how she felt when she found out she was pregnant. She dreamed immediately of having a girl but remembers relief when she held Asher for the first time and knew he would be nobody’s victim. Olivia is a beekeeper and her neighbors give her home a wide berth. Before moving back to her childhood home in Adams, New Hampshire, Olivia had married a man named Braden Fields. Olivia’s father died suddenly of a heart attack and she had to help her mother run their small family farm, coming home weekly with Asher.
