Summary
Duff leads a meeting of Homicide Detectives and is frustrated that the lazy group does not seem to care about the apparent inconsistencies at the crime scene of Duncan's murder. In their room at the Inverness, Macbeth and Lady talk and both confirm that they are suspicious of Banquo, thinking that he will be looking to unseat Macbeth as Commissioner. Duff receives an apparently credible tip from a drug addict that Banquo was seen with Malcolm on the docks, before Malcolm disappeared. Macbeth strolls into the Norse Riders clubhouse and, in the midst of the tense atmosphere, surprises the gangsters by asking them to kill Banquo and Fleance. After Duff considers his various options, he decides to go talk with Banquo to find more information about all that is happening. Duff meets Banquo at his house and, when the conversation briefly goes nowhere...
