Summary

In Chapter Six, Eric ignores Edie and asks Rebecca, who is covered in bruises, what happened to her previously blonde hair. The two start arguing in the kitchen, and Rebecca motions for Edie to go to her bedroom. Edie hears Eric demanding to know why Edie is there, so she starts packing her things. Akila invites Edie into her room. Akila tells Edie her parents will be talking all night using the “Radical Candor” techniques they learned in therapy. Akila tells Edie not to mess up the situation for her because she has just started thinking of this as her home and she does not want to have to leave again. In the morning, Edie runs into Eric but he ignores her again.
