Section 12: Chapter 22 Summary

Luna asks to finish their game as she emerges. Just as Regan thinks Aly will be alright with this, Aly makes an excuse about her mother needing milk and rushes out. Regan follows, begging Aly not to do this because Luna needs her. Aly is distraught that Regan did not tell her because she thought they were friends. The next day, Regan wonders if she betrayed Aly, but she cannot forget the look on Luna's face when Aly deserted her.
