Section 8: Chapter 14 & 15 Summary

In Chapter 14, that night, Regan thinks that she made Chris feel rejected and she needs to explain to him that it was about her brother as always. The next day, Regan waits in the gym to talk to Chris, but when she sees him, she chickens out and rushes home to find Dad in the basement, in Liam's room. Dad asks Regan if Liam is gay, accusing her of lying when she says no. He asks if Liam dates or if he even likes girls, and Regan wishes she could explain that Liam likes boys, but that does not make him gay because Dad has two daughters. Dad is satisfied, seeing what he wants to see, but Regan's heart aches because Liam will never be able to tell Dad about Luna. When Liam gets home at 10:30 P.M., he is excited...
