Chapters 14-16 Summary
In Chapter 14, Krome and JoLayne spend an intimate moment in bed while Chub and Bode begin a power struggle. At the same time, Moffitt breaks into Bode's apartment and begins searching for the ticket. Moffitt finds nothing of value, but is deeply offended by the posters and hate literature he finds. Moffitt decides to leave Bode a message before going. In Grange, Sinclair discovers the turtles and has something of a mental breakdown. While visiting the turtles, Sinclair learns that a body was found in Krome's house. This news takes Sinclair further down the path of mental instability. Back in Miami, Krome tells JoLayne that he has Bode Gazzer's address as well. He did not tell her earlier because he did not want her rushing into a dangerous situation.
