Chapters 6-7 Summary
In Chapter 6, Mary Andrea Finley Krome is in a rehabilitation clinic, but is not addicted to medications nor is she depressed. Mary Andrea is hiding from the process servers attempting to force her to get a divorce she does not want. Mary Andrea is not still in love with her husband. No woman in her family has been divorced for many generations and she refuses to be the first. At the same time that Mary Andrea shares her fears with the doctors at the rehabilitation clinic, Krome returns to The Register offices and argues with Sinclair over a story that Krome wants to do about JoLayne's attempts to get her ticket back.
