Exile's Story; The Magician; The Expedition Summary

Harry returns on foot, saying that the New Brotherhood Army took his truck. He has two men with him - Dan Forrester and Hugo Beck. Harry is certain that those in the stronghold will want Forrester because of his knowledge and his book. Beck was cast out of the stronghold for theft, and Harry brings him back to tell the story of the New Brotherhood Army. Dan is taken in, the diabetic sores on his feet cleaned, and he says that it's a strange feeling to know that he's safe at least for the next few hours. Beck is treated with hostility, but Harry insists that he be allowed to tell his story. Beck says that the New Brotherhood has enough food, mainly salvaged from supermarkets, but that they use cannibalism as rituals...
