Summary
As more soldiers arrive at the brothel, Oberfuhrer Schimmelpfennig reflects with distaste on the path his career his taken and contemplates requesting a transfer. He even considers whether the front line might be preferable to his current situation.
Obersturmfuhrer Sarazin arrives at No. 232 Ost and is annoyed at minor changes that have taken place since his last visit. He remembers visiting the buildings when he took part in the Lebensborn, a program to impregnate German women through semi-anonymous sexual interactions with elite German soldiers, an achievement of which he is proud. As he enters Skinny's cubicle, he stands up straighter and contemplates his own superiority, remembering a time when he forced a highly educated Jewish man to thank him for bringing about his death, before forcing him to choose between being shot and going to the gas chambers.
