Georgia Warr
Georgia Warr is the central character and first-person narrator in the novel. The novel is set during the end of Georgia’s final year of high school and first year of college. Even though Georgia desperately wants to experience romantic love, she is disgusted by the idea of kissing or having sex with either men or women. While in college, she discovers that she is both aromantic and asexual. This means she is not interested either in romance or in sex.
Before Georgia comes to terms with sexuality, she almost loses her best friends as she experiments with different relationships. Georgia decides to date Jason, a longtime best friend, because she believes if she can love anyone it would be Jason.
